The Danish Heritage Agency

The Danish Heritage Agency is a fairly young organisation, being born from a new Museum Act in 2002 bringing together a number of institutions and departments from both the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Culture.  Today the Agency administers scheduled buildings, ancient monuments in the landscape and all the national heritage databases.
